Monastery (Area)
The MONASTERY is easily the most popular apartment complex in St.Vlas. It is the first one built and started the Dinevi Resort in St.Vlas. The complex is named in honour of the ancient monasteries that existed in the same place and because of its specific architectural style. The unique location of the Monastery is hard to beat, arguably it cannot be surpassed, perched on a hill above the sea shore and facing the marina and the entire bay. Several walkways, with stairs at the bottom, descend towards the beach. All the spacious apartments face the sea panorama, made even more visible by the full width balconies which are complete with plastic furniture. It is located side-by-side with the first Monastery, sharing the same incredible location above the large and sandy Carribbean beach of St.Vlas. Bademi (Area)
BADEMI apartments are part of the premium front line of the Dinevi Resort, located only 20m from St.Vlas beach to the side of the Marina Dinevi entrance barrier. This is a small apartment complex made up of two parallel buildings of 4 floors, both with relaxed white facades and arches on the balconies. Both buildings face the sea. Between them is a green courtyard with a swimming pool and sunbeds. Apart from being very close to the beach the complex is within easy reach of St.Vlas main shopping street with its supermarkets, restaurants and various service-providers. Orthodox church "sve... ... (Area)
In 2007 "Dinevi Group" completed the construction of the Orthodox church "Sveti Vlasiy". In its place from the third to the seventeenth century there was a self-titled monastery, which was destroyed by the Turks in the seventeenth century. The church is dedicated to St. Vlasiy sacred martyr, Bishop Sebastian, who lived in Cappadocia, Turkey today. Vlasius suffered martyrdom after inhuman torture in 316, at the reign of Lykinius. Before the sword cut off his head, he prayed for the whole world and for those who, after his death, would worship his memory. Part of the saint's relics was transmitted by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Yordan Dinev and the director of the National Museum of History prof. Bozhidar Dimitrov. The two brought the relics from Istanbul. The relics were laid in the church of Saint Vlasius at an official ceremony on 18.05.2010 with the presence of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and representatives of the Bulgarian Synod. Anyone can bow before the saint and to beg him to cure pain or salvation of his soul. These are the first relics of the saint in our region. A piece of the cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified was also donated to the newly built church of St. Vlasius. The relic is embedded in a golden cross.
