    The Atrium is the perfect room for the drinks reception, smaller ceremony & activities   The back of the house and the entrance for suppliers and guests who require ground floor access The heart of the house this room links to all other rooms on the ground floor Fantastic for photos if the weather should be poor Civil ceremonies of 60 guests or less can be performed in this room The baby grand piano is fully functional and available for you to use We suggest locating your cake in the Atrium and have a cake stand and knife for your use An easel for your table plan is available   The gift table is situated just to the left of the back door for cards, decorations and guest book The staircase and mantle pieces can be decorated

    The Bernays room is where we suggest you hold your Civil Ceremony   Seats up to 75 guests (for larger numbers you can extend into the Piano room next door) with beautiful views of the rose garden & Severn Prior to the ceremony the Bride & Groom will have a meeting with the registrar and celebrant in the Library.  The Groom will join the guests in the Berneys Room.  The Bride will then have the same meeting and arrange herself and the Bridal party to get ready for the entrance.  The Bride will enter through the double doors This room will be used as a lounge throughout the day and by night turns into your dancefloor! You’re welcome to decorate this room how you wish

    The Orangery is the perfect room for your Wedding Breakfast   Seats up to 120 guests with beautiful views of the Severn There is a choice of a long or round top table which can be located in the middle of the room allowing your guests to be seated around you All crockery, cutlery and table linen are provided There is a BOSE sound system in-built for back ground music with a wireless microphone for speeches We provide the limewash Chiavari chairs along with tables We have cream blackout blinds available for hot weather & all windows and doors can be open fully on nice days The kitchen is located to the left of the room providing the very best cuisine for your special day The main chandeliers in this room are dimmable to create a different affect if required All floral centerpieces & decorations (place cards, menus, favours, and table names) are not included.  However any colour scheme goes perfectly in this room giving you full creativity

    The Library is perfect quiet spot for your guests to relax and have a chat. This is also the room where you will meet the registrar before the ceremony.     A lovely quiet space for guests to catch up Great space for a DIY photo booth   This is where the registrar will meet with the bride and Groom prior to a civil ceremony

    The bar is fully stocked ensuring you have the best party! We also have an indoor heated pool   Our bar is open from the moment your guests arrive until 12.30am last orders for a 1am finish You can organise a tab or simply open the bar on a cash or card basis  The lights behind can be set to your colour scheme  We have a great BOSE sound system which plays throughout the house to play your favourite songs on either a CD or any generation iPod/Pad  The Country Park is available to use on a complimentary basis throughout your stay  Our indoor heated swimming pool is available the morning after your wedding before check out  We have a disabled toilet and two ground floor bedrooms

    Old Down Manor is set within 66 acres of beautiful parkland and formal gardens.  We even have a Country Park too!   Our rose garden comes alive between May and October and has the most beautiful roses you will ever see!  A wonderful space for photographs The main lawn is perfect for croquet and enjoying canapés and drinks The gates that you see to the North of the house are the only part of the property that’s listed. We have two viewing points.  One on top of the orangery and the other at the very top of the house so you can practice your Royal wave! Exclusive use of the grounds that surround the house is offered to all of our clients We have a dedicated team of professional gardeners who make our grounds look superb all year round The Manor gates and tree lined avenue along with the orangery car parking

    Old Down Manor has 13 rooms on-site, 8 in the Manor and 5 in the cottage (sleeps 28).  There are also 5 off-site rooms at Cross Hands Barn (5 minutes away)   Breakfast is included for all rooms based on 2 guests sharing You are able to invite additional guests for breakfast who can also use the facilities such as the swimming pool All rooms include toiletries, towels and robes for guests to enjoy We have different set ups such as twin, double and family We provide z beds and cots for children Tea and coffee is available on the landing Check in is simple in the hallway at 2pm.  Check out is at 10.30am after breakfast
